About this role
We're partnering with a leading organisation to support their private cloud operations. We're seeking an experienced Linux Systems Engineer to join our team and help maintain and optimise their infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities
As a Linux Systems Engineer, you'll be part of a dynamic team handling high-volume infrastructure operations. You'll be responsible for building new virtual machines, performing operating system upgrades, and managing the support ticket queue. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to system stability and operational efficiency.
About You
We're looking for passionate technologists who enjoy working in collaborative agile teams. You'll need:
- Strong Linux administration experience, particularly in private cloud environments
- Proficiency in VM deployment and management
- Experience in handling high-volume support tickets and system maintenance
- Solid understanding of OS upgrade processes and best practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with ticketing systems and operational support
- Good communication skills and team collaboration abilities
